Blumac Digital developed a bespoke integration between an Order Management System and the Parcelforce ExpressLink API. The solution automatically creates shipping consignments for all processed orders, sending customer details, delivery addresses and parcel information directly to Parcelforce via their SOAP/XML API, eliminating manual data entry and streamlining logistics workflows.
The Challenge
Our client needed an automated shipping solution that would eliminate the time-consuming process of manually re-entering order data into the Parcelforce system. Staff were duplicating customer names, delivery addresses and parcel details for every shipment, leading to inefficiencies and potential errors. The goal was full automation from order to consignment creation.
